So, some genius decided the best way to sell spritz was to fly us to a magical Italian village and let us hang out in a town square for two weeks. We ended up in Ascoli Piceno, surrounded by mountains and Italians who are just, frankly, much more attractive than the rest of us. We found this ancient, perfect café with a lovely barista named Marco. My main job was to preserve the soul of the place as much as possible. It was fourteen days of the best food, zero "van life" misery, and enough espresso. Take me back.
